What’s Ahead in 2016

GEICO 500As the engines sit quiet in race shops and the high banks of Daytona International Speedway await the return of the thunderous pack of cars, final preparations are made for the 2016 season.

The upcoming year has the potential to be the most thrilling and intense season NASCAR has seen in quite some time. Through the implementation of the low-downforce package, abundance of rookie contenders and the third year of the new Chase for the Sprint Cup format; 2016 has the making to be epic.

Entering my twelfth year as a fan, I have never been more excited for the season to come. Why? It comes from a combination of the factors described above and knowing NASCAR is in a great position as the energy that once defined the sport returns. Continue reading “What’s Ahead in 2016”

The 2015 Revival

twitt4logoAfter surviving the seemingly long two plus months without racing, NASCAR is back. Teams are packing up to head to Daytona International Speedway in less than two weeks for more exciting racing during SpeedWeeks. As everyone in the industry makes their final preparations for another successful year, I wanted to unveil my 2015 plans for Turn4RacingNews.com.

Following producing limited content last year, I have prepared for a full revival during the new season. My goal is to bring as much excitement in my coverage as fans will find on the track throughout the ten-month schedule.

In addition to the new site design you are currently viewing, there will be many new features posted throughout the year. Continue reading “The 2015 Revival”

2014 Fan Favorite Driver Contest

It allows fans to carry their favorite through the tournament by voting in each round. The ultimate winner may not be the most well liked, however their fans will have proven to be the most dedicated. Continue reading “2014 Fan Favorite Driver Contest”

What’s To Come in 2013

A new year is upon us. 2013 has so much potential to be a great year. NASCAR in 2013 is expected to be the best in years. A new car, new driver lineups and an even playing field will add to the excitement of 2013. 2013 will be great, really great.

As the first year of Turn 4 Racing News closed, I want to thank you, the readers, for getting us to 25,000 views in our first year in business. What we have in store for 2013, will hopefully bring in new readers and keep our current readers happy!

A fan favorite from last year, will return again this year and that is our race picks. Many of you showed interest in the race picks and some even would tweet me their race picks. The format of the race picks will remain the same in 2013 and Tyson, Caleb and myself will return to give our race picks. Here is the addition to our race picks in 2013.
