Electrifying Eliminations Ahead in Dover

It has produced drama fans only saw in the second half of the final ten races last fall. This attests to the intensity associated with the new system.

Wild Wrecks Leave Teams Scrambling as Budweiser Duel Approaches

As teams prepare for Thursday’s Budweiser Duel Races, Wednesday’s practices got rather wild. Two major wrecks in the first Sprint Cup Series practice sessions left just over a half a dozen teams unloading backup cars. The first wreck was fairly calm compared to the second one which left Parker Kligerman upside down on the frontstretch. 2014 Begins a New Chapter at Richard Childress Racing

At the conclusion of last season came the end of a chapter at Richard Childress Racing. Their top driver for over a decade in Kevin Harvick was moving on. Following Dale Earnhardt’s death, Harvick was the face of RCR. Now that the face of the organization has left, it is time for a new beginning. With Austin Dillon set to compete for rookie honors in the famous No.3 car, RCR has the driver in which they hope is leading them in a new direction. Redemption for Hamlin, A Six Pack for Johnson

A forgettable 2013 season for Denny Hamlin ended on a high note Sunday afternoon at Homestead-Miami. Despite dismal performances throughout the year, Hamlin was able to bring a little light to his season with a win.  This victory will continue Hamlin’s streak of seven straight seasons with at least one win. Interesting 2013 Ahead for Richard Childress Racing

A forgettable 2012 is now behind RCR and they are preparing to make 2013 a better year. One win last year wasn’t a typical statistic for RCR in a single season. Kevin Harvick had the most success on the team with a win and a Chase birth but, RCR will be losing their best driver in Harvick at the season’s end. Will it be a smart move for RCR letting their best driver go after 2013? No but, team-owner Richard Childress believes he has young talent in his two grandsons moving up through the ranks of NASCAR. 2013 will surely be interesting at RCR.
