NASCAR has seen tremendous change over the last decade. Once the sport’s rise came to a halt and the recession struck, stock car racing struggled. As a result, the sport began making changes and took a turn late in the first decade of the new century. However, the adjustments made then weren’t very effective.
Nearly a decade later, the changes NASCAR has implemented over the last four years are beginning to pay off. Phoenix International Raceway often produces some of the most exciting races each season. This time around, the Eliminator Round will conclude here, and could make for very intense competition. Teams showed up to the track this weekend with a hunger to succeed, and some neat paint schemes. Some teams are displaying patriotic colors for Veterans Day, while others are displaying unique looks, making for an interesting mix of schemes during the second to last race weekend of the year.

A new feature to Turn 4 Racing News, the “Paint Scheme Report” will depict which cars came to the track looking great and which ones did not. This social media driven report will use pictures found on twitter and discuss what’s great or not so great about the different schemes.
Hype surrounded Kyle Larson prior to Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400. Many expected him to have an outstanding performance and contend for the victory. Unfortunately for the No. 42 Target Chevrolet team, their day couldn’t have gone any worse as they finished 43rd.
In one of the most dominating performances the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has seen this season, Darrell Wallace Jr. ended up in victory lane Wednesday night at Eldora Speedway. Despite his lack of dirt-track racing experience, he was able to beat some of the best in the business in route to victory.
