Chase Notes Following Chicagoland

“Chase Notes,” a new feature to for the 2015 Chase for the Sprint Cup will bring fans the major storylines following each race. It will include race statistics, a rundown of where the contenders finished, a Chase Grid update, and list of the events that impacted Chase competitors throughout the race.

Paint Scheme Report: Phoenix International Raceway

PaintSchemeReportPhoenix International Raceway often produces some of the most exciting races each season. This time around, the Eliminator Round will conclude here, and could make for very intense competition. Teams showed up to the track this weekend with a hunger to succeed, and some neat paint schemes. Some teams are displaying patriotic colors for Veterans Day, while others are displaying unique looks, making for an interesting mix of schemes during the second to last race weekend of the year.

The Road to Miami: Contender Round Shakes Up Championship Picture

charlotte_nscs_race_field (1)Each race in the Contender Round of the 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup championship provided a unique twist to the title battle.

Three weeks ago at Kansas Speedway, the trouble Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, and Brad Keselowski ran into impacted their chances at moving forward in the Chase.

Almost eight months following NASCAR’s landmark announcement regarding the new Chase for the Sprint Cup format, the time to write a new chapter in the sport’s history has arrived.

Excitement has been building around the new format all season-long. The importance placed on winning has increased the competition level in almost every race. Now, 13 victors along with three drivers in on points are about to embark on potentially the wildest ten races in the sports’ history. Its new, its different and it will surely be fun to watch.
