From Charlotte to Iowa and everywhere in between, racing action was fierce and it didn’t disappoint last weekend. Fans were treated to many exciting events which translated into storylines galore over the past week.
Chip Ganassi Racing has been waiting a long time for 2014. The team will be introducing their young-superstar in Kyle Larson to the Sprint Cup Series. Larson is a very talented driver which is why CGR has put so much emphasis on this California kid. His rookie season is going to say a lot about this team since they may have picked up the next NASCAR great. Could Daytona be the start of a return to glory for CGR? For the second straight week, a non-Chaser emerged victorious. It was restrictor-plate master, Jamie McMurray, grabbing the Talladega victory on Sunday. Talladega has arrived. This is the race everyone anticipated, as it will most likely have a significant impact on the Chase standings. One mistake could take a driver out of the running for the Sprint Cup, and that same mistake may put another driver in.
