He proved to have the most dominant car in the field, leading 95 laps and remaining up front throughout the event. However, fate seemed out of his hands as the laps counted down. Chasing the Cup: Championship 4 Power Rankings Ahead of New Hampshire

It will take ten momentous weeks to capture the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship. Consistency will be vital as one bad run can throw a competitor’s mindset off and lead to mistakes.

Last season, fans witnessed an intense and dramatic final ten races. The potential is high for more excitement this fall as teams know what it takes to claim the title under the new format. 

The finale in Miami will feature four drivers who were able to put together a solid and consistent stretch of races. It seemed as last year, the top contenders changed after each and every race. This created unpredictable eliminations and surprises in each round.

Throughout this year’s playoffs, I’ll rank the competitors who seem to have what it takes to make the Championship 4. This will lead all the way up to Phoenix where the final four will be decided. It will surely go through plenty of twists and turns on the road to Miami.

Heading into the Sylvania 300, here are the contenders who seem to have what it takes to chase the Cup and those on the outside look in.2NH

NASCAR Stars to Participate in Drive for Autism Golf Outing Prior to Dover Race Weekend

Drive for Autism-June Dover Trip 2014 284Before the “Monster Mile” heats up for May 29-31 race weekend, NASCAR drivers, broadcasters, personalities, and more will tee up in the annual “Drive for Autism” Celebrity Golf Outing.

Held each year in Wilmington, Delaware, drivers will exchange their steering wheels for a golf club to support a great cause. Many of today’s top competitors will be present on May 28th and will compete for the best score rather than a trip to Victory Lane.
